Vincent Edwards scored 16 points and pulled down 17 rebounds as Purdue men’s basketball won 76-75 at Ohio State on Thursday night.

The former Middletown standout also handed out four assists, continuing a strong season for the 20th-ranked Boilermakers.

The junior forward is third on the team in scoring at 12.4 points per game and tied for No. 2 in rebounds (5.5). He is second in assists with 60 while shooting 49.3 percent from the floor and 44.1 percent from three-point range.

Last year, Edwards became the only player in Purdue’s storied basketball history to tally 675 points, 325 rebounds and 175 assists through his first two seasons in West Lafayette.
