Graham named Trotwood head football coach

Offensive coordinator Jeff Graham was promoted to the varsity head football coach at Trotwood-Madison High School on Thursday night. The position opened when veteran Rams head coach Maurice Douglass resigned following last season and accepted the head coaching position at Springfield.

“I am very excited about the opportunity and am looking forward to this coming season and our kids competing at high level,” said Graham in a statement.

Trotwood athletic director Guy Fogle said all three finalists were Trotwood assistants. Graham, a Trotwood native, was All-Ohio in football and basketball at Alter. He also was MVP as a receiver at Ohio State University and played 11 seasons in the NFL.

Trotwood has had an unprecedented program run since Graham has been on the coaching staff. Trotwood has played in four straight state title games. The Rams won the Division II title in 2011.
