As expected, Ethan Bradds of Greeneview High School signed to play football at Eastern Kentucky University during Wednesday’s National Signing Day.

A 6-foot-5, 245-pounder, Bradds had verbally committed to the Colonels of the Ohio Valley Conference prior to his senior season.

Bradds excelled at tight end and as a defensive lineman and was a key two-way player in Rams teams that advanced to three consecutive regional semifinals.

Last season Greeneview (9-3) lost to eventual state runner-up Coldwater in the Division V, Region 20 semifinals. Greeneview went 8-4 in the 2015 season, losing to then-unbeaten Brookville in a D-V, Region 18 semifinal.

In 2014 Greeneview (10-2) lost to Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy also in a D-V, Region 18 semifinal.

Bradds also is a three-year starter in Greeneview’s basketball program.

Bradds’ brother, Evan Bradds, is a 6-7 senior and four-year basketball starter at Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn.
