Guard from Illinois commits to Wright State basketball

Raiders have three players in 2019 recruiting class

The Wright State Raiders received a verbal commitment from Treyvon Calvin on Wednesday.

Calvin is a 6-foot point guard from St. Viator High School in Arlington Heights, Ill. He also had a scholarship offer from Illinois-Chicago and interest from Winthrop, he told Scouts Focus Illinois in September.

Calvin joins Andre Harris, a 6-2 guard from Brush High School (Ohio), and Noah Freidel, a 6-4 guard from Tea, S.D., in Wright State’s 2019 class.

Harris, who had offers from Kent State, Robert Morris and Bethune-Cookman among others, committed in July. Freidel committed Aug. 18.
