High School Highlights for Aug. 16

Wade Hovan and Brayden Woods each tallied a 37 to help the Greeneview boys golf team improve to 5-0 with a win over Dayton Christian on Tuesday at Pipestone Golf Course.

Greeneview shot a 158 to Dayton Christian’s 176.

Phillip Miller of Dayton Christian was the medalist with a 35.

Troy 170, Northmont 179: Holden Scribner shot a 41 and Nate Uhlenbrock added a 42 for Troy.

Talawanda 220, Badin 223: Talawanda's fifth man broke a tie for the win. Vincent Whitehead of Talawanda was the medalist at 37 and Zack Jarvis had a 40 for Badin.

Carlisle 170, Franklin 185: Jake Glover led Carlisle with a 36 and Justin Flor added a 39. Mason Steed shot a 42 for Franklin.

Ben Logan 175, Indian Lake 191: Mitchell Fink posted the low score of 37, including two birdies and a par on the last three holes, and Will Kenoyer added a 43 for Ben Logan.

Cedarville 182, Triad 184: Noah Myers was the medalist at 37 to help Cedarville edge Triad. Alec Ober shot a 39 for Triad.

Fort Loramie 171, Fort Recovery 185: Brad Goettemoeller had the low score of 38 for Fort Loramie. Austin Pohl shot a 45 for Fort Recovery.

Anna 165, Minster 182: Mason Platfoot led Anna with a 38. Ben Stubbs had a 41 for Minster.

Girls Tennis

Alter 3, Fairmont 2: Alter edged Fairmont to improve to 3-0.
