Jeff Smith, Madison — Smith, 50, is the All-Area, District 15 Division III and Southwestern Buckeye League Buckeye Division Coach of the Year. He has a career record of 274-209 (119-82 in nine years at Middletown Christian and 155-127 in 13 seasons at Madison) and led the Mohawks to a 24-1 mark and the Division III regional semifinals in 2009-10. Smith was an assistant coach for one season (1989-90) with the University of Dayton women’s program. He is a 1977 Centerville (Ind.) High School graduate, earning a bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Tennessee Temple University and a master’s degree in education/athletic administration from Dayton. Smith teaches physical education at Madison.
