Fairmont 83, Vandalia 33: Alona Skipper scored 18 points for Fairmont in this Division I sectional game. She made 6-of-9 3-pointers. Chelsea Welch had 18 points, five assists and four steals while Danie Shafer had 16.

Newton 48, Catholic Central 38: Newton trailed by four midway through the fourth, but went on a 14-0 run to win this Division IV sectional game at Brookville. Trista Lavy scored 17 for Newton. Megan Rutledge had 11. Kellie O'Connor had 12 for Catholic Central while Paige Lewis had 11. Newton will play Tri-Village on Saturday.

Tri-Village 107, Emmanuel Christian 13: Tri-Village has scored over 100 points in its first two tournament games. Teha Richards scored 40 and collected her 1,000th career point.
