Dorn had three fouls before the end of the second quarter and sat out most of the third. She led Bellbrook with 21 points.
She scored 10 in the fourth and five in overtime. Bellbrook (20-4) out-scored Kenton Ridge 11-2 in the extra period.
“You would have to peel us off the ceiling right now,” Bellbrook coach Jason Tincher said. “We won in about as dramatic a fashion as you can muster. What a great win for our program and these girls.”
Leisha Crawford scored 14 points. Shelby Sigman had 10 points and eight rebounds. CheaTaylor had four points and 10 rebounds.
“With us it isn’t about individual players,” Tincher said. “They all stepped up. They put so much into it, it’s nice to see them get so much out.”
Boys basketball
Miami East 46, Greeneview 42: A.J. Hickman hit two foul shots with seven seconds left in the fourth quarter to put the game away for Miami East.
The game was a Division III sectional final played at UD Arena.
Hickman and Gunner Shirk led Miami East (21-2) with 12 points each. The Vikings shot 10-of-12 from the free-throw line as a team.
Eric Green led Greeneview (17-6) with 12 on four 3-pointers. Garrett Hudson scored 11 and Evan Bradds 10.
Versailles 63, Dixie 36: Mitchell Campbell led Versailles (21-2) with 17 points. Chad Winner scored 15, Kyle Ahrens 12.
The Versailles defense held Dixie to 16 points at halftime.
Andrew Barnett and John Isaacs each scored nine to lead Dixie (15-8).
The game was a Division III sectional final played at UD Arena.
St. Henry 61, New Bremen 38: Kyle Stahl and Jordan Bender each scored 11 points to lead St. Henry.
Mitch Davis scored nine.
Derek Bornhorst led New Bremen with 16. Troy Williams scored seven.
The game was a Division IV sectional final at Coldwater.
