Patrick Shiner rushed for two touchdowns and passed for another to lift Carroll to a 28-18 road win at Beavercreek.
Shiner’s 19-yard touchdown pass to Daniel Sommers with 7:12 to play and his 9-yard TD run with 5:37 left helped the Patriots seal the win and improve to 2-0.
Stone Kincer rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns for the Beavers (0-2).
Wayne 69, Oakridge Secondary School 0: The Warriors (2-0) built a 34-0 first-quarter lead and rolled from there against the visitors from Ontario, Canada.
D’Mitrik Trice tossed three first-quarter touchdown passes — a pair to Ahmad Wagner — and Josh Foster added 100 yards and two scores on the ground. Wayne has outscored its first two opponents 109-0.
Miamisburg 28, Fairmont 7: The Vikings (2-0) scored 21 unanswered points to pull away from the Firebirds (0-2). Chris Hobbs had two interceptions for Miamisburg.
Oakwood 31, Milton-Union 27: Sam Banke scored on a 37-yard run with 4:39 to play to cap a furious second-half rally by the Lumberjacks (1-1).
Milton-Union (0-2) led 21-0 at halftime.
Banke also scored on runs of 1 yard and 61 yards.
Tippecanoe 42, Greenville 14: Austin Clack rushed for 143 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Red Devils (2-0).
Teammates Cameron Gibbs (102 yards, TD) and Jakob Prall (119 yards) also rushed for 100-plus yards for Tipp, which amassed 390 yards rushing.
Lebanon 31, Loveland 6: Dawson Wolf rushed for 167 yards and Kaleb Frankenburg added 97 more on the ground as the host Warriors (1-1) dropped the reigning Division II state champs to 0-2.
Edgewood 17, Franklin 14: The host Cougars (1-1) booted a field goal with 2.1 seconds left to complete a fourth-quarter rally.
Edgewood scored a touchdown and converted a two-point conversion to tie the game at 14 with about nine minutes left.
The Wildcats fell to 1-1.
Fairborn 7, Stebbins 6: The Skyhawks (1-1) made a second-quarter TD pass from Brent Grody to Brandon Easterling and Adam Knaub’s PAT stand up. The Indians fell to 1-1.
Ponitz 41, Jefferson 14: Jalen Daniels scored on a kickoff return to pace the Golden Panthers (1-1). The Broncos fell to 0-2.
