Hurricane Harvey: Ohio State football to donate $10,000 to relief efforts

Ohio State football has lots of players from Texas, and the team will send lots of money to Houston to aid Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.

The school announced Wednesday players and coaches will contribute to a $10,000 donation to the Red Cross.

Seven current Buckeyes are from Texas, including starting quarterback J.T. Barrett (Wichita Fall).

When Ohio State opens the season Thursday night at Indiana, the Buckeyes and Hoosiers will wear “Houston Strong” helmet decals to show further support for the city and state which have been pounded by storms this week.
