Ken Griffey Jr. is coming back!

Well, to video games at least.

Sony announced Thursday the newly minted Hall of Fame center fielder will be on the cover of the next edition of “MLB The Show.”

Set for release in March, the game will have Griffey on the cover and inside.

There will be multiple editions of the game, too, depending on your level of Griffey fandom and discretionary income.

Will any of these be better than the cartoony goodness of “Ken Griffey Jr. Presents Major League Baseball” for the Super NES?

Probably not, but it’s worth a try.
