DeShone Kizer was roughed up by a bad team on Sunday. He completed 22 of 47 throws and threw three interceptions against previously winless Indianapolis in a 31-28 loss.

"First one, didn't put the ball where I was supposed to put it," Kizer said. "Second one, didn't put the ball where I was supposed to put it."

Kizer made it clear his accuracy must improve.

“There’s a lot of opportunities for me to put the ball in better places and allow our receivers a better chance to catch the ball,” he said.

The Browns missed out on winning one of the easiest games on their schedule. Next, they face the winless Bengals. If the Browns are going to be the team to avoid 0-4, they’ll need Kizer to be much better than he was on Sunday.

“In order for us to move forward as an offense, I need to make sure the ball is in the right spot at the right time,” Kizer said.
