LeBron James going to college, and he wants to make sure he’s not alone

Despite his affinity for the university, LeBron James did not go to Ohio State to play basketball or to play school.

(He understandably had better things to do.)

This week he shared that he's decided to do the latter, but at his hometown college: Akron.

Per the Associated Press, James told reporters he might major in world history.

“I’m pretty fond of that,” he said. “I love, like when I go around, obviously every summer traveling places, and it’s kind of unique to see how we kind of built things of that nature. Who kind of ruled places at certain points of time. It’s pretty cool.”

He’s also going to continue to do as much as he can to make sure more northeastern Ohio youngsters will find their own way to continue their education after high school.

Through I Promise Institute will help current middle school students in James’ Akron I Promise Network prepare for college.
