Schwarber hit a pair of homers in the Nats’ 6-2 win over the Mets in the second game of a doubleheader Saturday, allowing him to tie a MLB record with five homers in his last two games. Schwarber, who spent six seasons with the Chicago Cubs before signing a one-year deal with Washington, is third in the National League in home runs (18) and tied for 14th in the NL with 42 RBI. He’s hitting .241.
