Frank Robinson, a baseball Hall of Famer who originally starred in Cincinnati, celebrated his 82nd birthday Thursday.

Robinson won Rookie of The Year with the Reds in 1956 and MVP in 1961. His career included 14 All-Star appearances, two World Series championships (World Series MVP in 1966), MVPs in both leagues, the 1966 Triple Crown, a Gold Glove (1958).

He was the first African American manager and won Manager of the Year in 1989. The Reds, Orioles and Indians have retired his No. 20 and inducted him into their team Hall of Fames.

Happy 82nd birthday to one of the greatest players of all time, Frank Robinson!
