Centerville native and former Cincinnati Bengals kicker Mike Nugent is asking for help from the public after his home in Scottsdale, Ariz., was burglarized.
Nugent tweeted Tuesday afternoon that the he lost his Bears jersey and helmet, along with game-used cleats and some Christmas gifts in the theft.
If anyone in @scottsdaleaz sees a Nugent @ChicagoBears game jersey and helmet LMK. Those, plus game cleats and Christmas gifts, were stolen from my home. #rewardiffound #irreplaceable @FedEx @NFL

Nugent played for the Chicago Bears for the final four games of the 2017 season and spending four games with Dallas as an injury fill-in for Dan Bailey.
The Centerville High School and Ohio State graduate kicked for the Bengals from 2010-16. The Bengals released Nugent 13 games into the 2016 season after he struggled on both field goals (23 of 29) and extra points (23 of 29).

Nugent, who entered the league as a second-round draft pick of the New York Jets in 2005, is scheduled be an unrestricted free agent when the NFL new league year begins in March.
