Alter 66, Badin 54: The Knights hit 15 of 21 fourth-quarter free throws and withstood Badin's rally to post another D-Ii win at Trent.
The second-seeded Knights (17-6) were paced by Joe Laravie (20 points), Jauren Pryce (16), Greg Romer (12) and Dominic Laravie (10).
Alter will play Oakwood in a sectional final at 5 p.m. Saturday at Wright State University.
Wilmington 86, Princeton 52: Jarron Cumberland poured in 41 points, including seven 3-pointers to lead the Hurricane to a D-I sectional final pairing against Fairfield at Hamilton on Friday. Cumberland is 58 points shy from tying Jim Jackson for No. 20 on Ohio's all-time scoring list.
Wayne 90, Stebbins 31: The Warriors improved to 24-0 with a D-I sectional win at Centerville. L'Christian Smith led all scorers with 16 points. Rodrick Caldwell added 14 points and Trey Landers 13 for the Warriors. Jonathan Mpanzu tallied 10 points to lead Stebbins.
Piqua 56, Greenville 53: The Indians (14-10) rallied in another D-I sectional game at Centerville. Colton Bachman had 22 points and Bradley Hohlbein scored 19 to lead Piqua. Greenville's Clay Guillozet scored 20 of his game-high 25 points in the third quarter.
Piqua will play Wayne in a D-I sectional final on Friday at Centerville. Greenville ends 13-11.
Tippecanoe 59, Benjamin Logan 41: Carter Mann had 16 points and 9 rebounds to lead the Red Devils (16-8) in D-II sectional play at Springfield. Grant Rickets led Ben Logan (6-17) with 14 points.
Russia 70, Lehman Catholic 33: Jack Dapore and Jake Gariety each drained four 3-pointers to lead Russia (21-3) to a D-IV sectional win at Piqua. Dapore had a game-high 16 points and Gariety 14. Max Schutt led Lehman (4-19) with 14 points.
Fort Loramie 58, Miss. Valley 46: Loramie's Tyler Siegel led all scorers with 21 points. Colyn Nelson had 14 points to lead the Blackhawks (16-8). The Redskins (12-12) will face Russia in a D-IV sectional final on Friday at Piqua.
Tri-Village 68, Xenia Christian 39: The Patriots (21-3) got 25 points from Trace Couch and 22 from Gavin Richards to win a D-IV sectional game at Troy. Tri-Village, the defending state champion, takes a seven-game win streak into the sectional final on Friday against Yellow Springs, a 61-43 winner over Springfield Catholic Central.
