Ohio State Buckeyes: Stivers grad 7th at NCAA Championships

Ohio State’s Tyler Johnson, a Stivers High School product, finished seventh Friday night in the 400-meter run at the NCAA Track and Field Championships.

Johnson clocked a time of 45.40 at the University of Oregon’s Hayward Field.

North Carolina A&T’s Randolph Ross won the event in 43.86.

Johnson’s finish earned him first-team, All-America honors. He was second-team All-America as part of the Buckeyes’ 12th-place 400 relay team.
