Prep Insider: Harding to leave Fairborn, succeed Spiller at Northmont

Fairborn High School athletic director Micah Harding will succeed Robin Spiller as Northmont’s AD.

Spiller will end a 40-year run in the Northmont school district this summer. Also a Northmont graduate, she previously was Northmont’s head softball coach for 18 seasons, a girls basketball coach for 10 years and a volleyball coach for five years. Northmont was the Divisoin I state runner-up in softball in 1998 under Spiller.

Like Spiller, Harding, a Cedarville grad, also will serve a dual role as a high school assistant principal. “Northmont has a great reputation and we’re excited to be part of the Northmont family,” Harding said in a statement.

Both will remain in their current positions until July.
