Bengals-Steelers: 6 players to watch

Jeremy Hill, Cincinnati RB

He’s coming off his best game of the season, and nothing will be more important to quarterback AJ McCarron’s success than Hill’s ability to pick up 4 or 5 yards on a consistent basis.

Kevin Huber, Cincinnati P

He is a big reason why the Bengals punt coverage unit is one of the best in the league, allowing just 6.3 yards per return. Against the Steelers, they have allowed a total of 4 return yards on six punts.

Michael Johnson, Cincinnati DE

He’s been fairly quiet in his first season back with the Bengals, but two of his five sacks have come against the Steelers and their inexperienced left tackle Alejandro Villanueva.

Cameron Heyward, Pittsburgh DE

His seven sacks are tops on the Steelers defense, and he’ll be working against Benals right tackle Andre Smith, who has struggled during the final month of the season.

Heath Miller, Pittsburgh TE

Twenty of his 60 catches this year and 171 of his 535 yards have come in the two games against the Bengals, whose focus on preventing the deep ball opens a lot of opportunities for tight ends underneath.

Fitzgerald Toussaint, Pittsburgh RB

The Steelers are 6-1 this year when rushing for fewer than 85 yards, but just the threat of Le’Veon Bell and DeAngelo Williams were a big part of that. If Toussaint, an unproven rookie who spent most of the season on the practice squad, can’t get anything going, it could be a long night for the offense.
