Super Bowl XXX – Dallas Cowboys 27, Pittsburgh Steelers 17

Dallas cornerback Larry Brown intercepted Pittsburgh quarterback Neil O’Donnell twice in the second half, and the Cowboys converted both of them into Emmitt Smith touchdown runs.

Dallas quarterback Troy Aikman was an efficient 15 of 23 for 209 yards, including a 3-yard touchdown pass to tight end Jay Novacek, on his way to winning his third and final Super Bowl title.

Charles Haley became the first player to win five Super Bowls, and Barry Switzer became the second head coach to win a college football national championship and a Super Bowl (his predecessor Jimmy Johnson was the other).
