Report: FC Cincinnati coach used racial slur in front of players

FC Cincinnati coach Ron Jans reportedly used a racial slur in the presence of players this week.

The Athletic reported Jans did so while quoting the lyrics from a song and the MLS players association is aware of the situation and that it will be investigated independently.

A native of the Netherlands, Jans has been the coach of FCC since August.

The club went 6-22-6 in its first season in MLS last year and begins the regular season March 1.
