HS Roundup 2/2: Worley’s heroics lead Dixie in win

Devin Worley’s 1,000th career point came on the game-winning shot to cap off a 46-44 rally victory for Dixie against Milton Union in boys basketball on Friday.

Dixie outscored MU 17-7 in the final quarter to pull off the win.

Worley finished with 19 points and Keith Thomas added 10.

Caleb Wintrow led Milton Union with 16, including four three-point baskets.

Miamisburg 76, Springboro 62: Jason Hubbard had 24 points, Savon O’Neal 16 and Duncan Hall 15 to help ‘Burg pull ahead early. William Yates scored 23 and Kaleb Tabor tacked on 17 for ‘Boro.

Tippecanoe 73, Piqua 68: Josh Wildermuth totaled 25 points, Caiden Smith 15 and Tyler Skaggs 10 for Tipp, which pulled away in the closing minutes; Devon Brown paced Piqua with 24 and Qurri Tucker added 17.

Wayne 64, Beavercreek 53: Darius Quisenberry led Wayne with 21 points and Deshon Parker put up 14.

Lebanon 61, Northmont 46: Harrison Hoofkin and Drew Sekerak each had 14 points and Zach Huffman added in 10 for Lebanon.

Sidney 58, Troy 35: Andre Gordon scored 23 points, Keith Lee added 11 and Devan Rogers 10 for Sidney. Jacob Martinez totaled 10 for Troy.

Fairfield 55, Colerain 53: Devin Turner turned in 23 points and Blake Spaulding and Allen Caldwell hauled in nine rebounds apiece to help give Fairfield the edge.

Sycamore 49, Middletown 46: Jawunn Bailey tallied 12 points with 11 rebounds but the Middies fell victim to a second-half Sycamore rally.

Mason 63, Lakota West 39: Matt Oehler led West with 19 points in a losing effort.

Preble Shawnee 69, Northridge 52: Austin Moore paced Preble with 16 points and Joey Bates added 12. Twon Hines netted 26 for Northridge.

Bellbrook 49, Monroe 44: Donnie Crouch scored 16 points and Jack Campbell 10 to lead Bellbrook. Caimanne Turner tallied 17 for Monroe.

Thurgood Marshall 75, Stivers 66: Chanze Amerson totaled 18 points to lead four players in double-digit scoring for Thurgoood.

Chaminade Julienne 64, Alter 60, OT: Milton Gage led a balanced attack from CJ that saw five players in double-digit scoring and a 22-point rally. Joey Greene and Jack Nauseef added 14 apiece. Jack Smith and Connor Bazelak put up 17 apiece for Alter.

Dayton Christian 81, Middletown Christian 44: Ryan Fair hit five 3-pointers, finishing with a career-high 21 points. Jarod Hamlin paced Middletown Christian with 17.

Legacy Christian 59, Emmanuel Christian 44: Erik Uszynski scored 20 points to lead Legacy in a fourth-consecutive win. Adonis Davis tallied 21 for Emmanuel.

West Liberty-Salem 47, Northeastern 44: Max Eggleston scored 13 points and Trevor Burden 12 to help WLS overcome a 16-point deficit in the fourth quarter.

Greeneview 51, Catholic Central 46: Nick Clevenger carried Greeneview with 16 points. Mykah Eichie led Central with 14.

Greenon 66, Southeastern 43: Cade Rice recorded 20 points and Logan Coppock 11 for Greenon. Charlie Bertemes scored 22 for Southeastern.

West Jefferson 69, Mechanicsburg 52: Chris Taylor tallied 17 points and Logan Hurst added 15 in a losing effort for ‘Burg.

Triad 47, Fairbanks 44: Hadley LeVan poured in 28 points to help lead Triad in the win.

Twin Valley South 61, Franklin Monroe 60, OT: Willie Bowman exploded for 30 points and Ryan Bassler drained the game-winning three-point shot with six seconds to play in overtime.

National Trail 69, Newton 37: Dalton Mason totaled 20 points and 15 rebounds to lead Trail. Cameron Harrison added on 12.

Tri-County North 66, Mississinawa Valley 59: Dillon McCullough totaled 24 points for TCN. Ethan Bowman led Mississinawa with 22 points.

Tri-Village 46, Miami East 39: Trey Frech tallied 18 points on six three-point shots for Tri-Village. Brendon Bertsch led East with 10.

Cin. Christian 43, Lockland 28: Cole Martin chipped in 10 points for Cincinnati Christian.

Fort Loramie 68, Houston 32: Dillon Braun tallied 18 points and Fort Loramie pulled away in the first half with a 25-0 run.

Versailles 64, New Knoxville 35: Justin Ahrens poured in 32 points for Versailles. Nathan Tinnerman tallied 16 for New Knoxville.

Anna 71, Lehman Catholic 47: Five players scored in double-digits for Anna, led by Griffin Doseck with 16 and Wyatt Bensman with 14. Preston Rodgers and Kameron Lee led Lehman with 16 apiece.

Russia 54, Botkins 37: Mason Dapore recorded 16 points and Jack Dapore 12 for Russia.

Marion Local 70, Minster 44: Nathan Bruns led Local with 19 points and 10 rebounds and Tyler Mescher tacked on 18.

St. Henry 55, St. John’s 50: Tyler Schlarman scored 26 points and Devin Huelskamp 15 for St. Henry.

Coldwater 56, New Bremen 46: Sam Broering carried Coldwater with 16 points.
