Previous reports have linked Zaire to the Gators as well as Texas, Wisconsin and Harvard.
Last month, he told this media organization he was waiting for some things to clear up" before finalizing his decision.

In April, Rivals.com reported Zaire was being courted by former Ohio State assistant Tim Beck, now the offensive coordinator for new Longhorns head coach Tom Herman (who also formerly coached for the Buckeyes).
Zaire began the 2015 season as the Irish starting quarterback, but a broken ankle ended his season prematurely.

DeShone Kizer starred in his place, and the two were set to share quarterback duties last season before Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly ultimately settled on primarily using Kizer as his signal caller.
Now both have left South Bend with Kizer entering the NFL draft and being taken in the second round by the Cleveland Browns.
