Shawnee freshman Robie Glass wins D-II state high jump

Shawnee’s Robie Glass became a rare freshman champion when he won the boys Division II state track and field high jump on Saturday at OSU’s Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.

Glass easily cleared 6 feet, 8 inches on his first attempt and was the only jumper in the field to go that high. He missed three times at 6-9.
