Darius Hillary is back with the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Bengals on Tuesday signed the free agent defensive back who spent part of the 2016 season on the team’s practice squad.
Hillary (5-foot-11, 183 pounds) originally signed with the Bengals as a college free agent in 2016 out of Wisconsin. He spent time on the Browns’ practice squad in 2016 and 2017 and appeared in one game with the Browns in 2017.

The Cincinnati native (Sycamore High School) also was on the Raiders practice squad in 2017 and the Redskins practice squad this offseason. Washington waived him Sunday.
Hillary is the son of former Bengals wide receiver Ira Hillary.
