MADISON TWP. — The Madison High School athletic department is selling tickets for the Mohawks girls basketball team’s Division III district championship game this week.
Madison faces Summit Country Day at 3 p.m. on Saturday at Springfield.
Presale tickets are $6, and the athletic department receives 50 percent of all tickets sold in advance.
Tickets will be on sale from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily through Friday at the high school and from 3:30 to 6 p.m. on Friday and 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday at the school board building.
All tickets at the gate will be $7. There will also be a $2 parking fee at Springfield.

RedHawks garner three CCHA honors
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. — For the second time this season, Miami University players captured three of four weekly honors from the Central Collegiate Hockey Association in the same week as junior forward Reilly Smith, senior goalie Connor Knapp and freshman forward Jimmy Mullin were all recognized, the league office announced Monday.
Smith earned Postgame Offensive Player of the Week, Knapp captured Goaltender of the Week and Mullin won Gongshow Rookie of the Week. The RedHawks are the only team this season to have won three of four CCHA weekly awards in the same week, also doing it Jan. 23 when Smith, Knapp and freshman forward Austin Czarnik claimed the accolades.
Miami, the No. 4 seed in the CCHA tournament, will host fifth-seeded Michigan State in a best-of-three series March 9-11.

Tourney tickets on sale at MHS
MIDDLETOWN — Tickets for Middletown High School’s Division I sectional boys basketball semifinal contest against St. Xavier will be sold in the MHS athletic office today from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
All presale tickets are $6, with the school receiving 50 percent of that money. All tickets at today’s 8 p.m. game at Lakota West will be $7.

MU offering deal for Ohio St. tickets
OXFORD — The clock is ticking for qualifying Miami University season ticket holders, football alumni and active Red & White Club members to take advantage of their option to purchase tickets for the RedHawks’ season opener at Ohio State on Sept. 1.
On March 1, the offer opens to all interested individuals, including the general public.
As an added benefit to purchasing season tickets and tickets for the season opener, MU fans also will receive two free single-game parking passes to any of the lots in which individual game passes are sold on game day (as supplies are available).
