Suspended Ohio State Buckeyes wide receiver Torrance Gibson may transfer.

The Twitter account for Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College announced Tuesday Gibson signed a national letter of intent. Gibson, a 6-foot-4, 215-pound quarterback turned wide receiver, is from Plantation, Fla. He was a 5-star prospect and the No. 16 recruit in the nation, according to ESPN, in the class of 2015.

According to Land of 10 reporter Jeremy Birmingham, Gibson said the Tweet was false and he may explore other Division I options if he doesn't return to Ohio State.

Gibson redshirted as a freshman in 2015 and figured to play a significant part in Ohio State's passing attack until he was suspended from Ohio State in August for the fall semester for an "unspecified violation of the student code of conduct." Coach Urban Meyer said at the time he expected Gibson to return to Ohio State in the second semester.
