On the clock: Who could Bengals select with top pick in 2020 NFL Draft?

Who do they take with the top pick? A franchise quarterback? A dominant defensive end? A wide receiver?

Do they trade down to acquire more picks to try to rebuild the roster?

There are many questions to be answered between now and April 23 when the NFL Draft kicks off in Las Vegas.

Here are some options:

Joe Burrow, quarterback, LSU: The Heisman Trophy winner is the odds-on favorite to start his pro career in Cincinnati. The Athens, Ohio, native has passed for 4,715 yards and 48 touchdowns while completing 77.9 percent of his passes for the top-ranked Tigers. LSU faces Oklahoma on Saturday in a College Football Playoff semifinal.

Chase Young, defensive end, Ohio State: The 6-foot-5, 265-pounder has been a menace all season for the Buckeyes and is the best player in the draft according to most experts. Young's 16 1/2 sacks, 21 tackles for loss and seven forced fumbles led college football. OSU faces Clemson on Saturday in a College Football Playoff semifinal.

Andrew Thomas, offensive tackle, Georgia: Thomas would be an instant upgrade to arguably the Bengals' weakest position group. Thomas and a healthy Jonah Williams, 2019's first-round pick, would be a good foundation up front.

Tua Tagovailoa, quarterback, Alabama: A hip injury and resulting surgery took the Crimson Tide lefty out of the discussion for the top pick. Would the Bengals consider trading down a few picks and taking Tagovailoa? In his college career he's passed for 87 TDs and just 11 interceptions.

Jerry Jeudy, wide receiver, Alabama: With A.J. Green's future as a Bengal in question, would the Bengals trade down and take the Crimson Tide junior? Jeudy caught 71 passes for 959 yards and nine TDs this season.
