1. Springboro held on for a 31-28 win over Beavercreek, a game both teams needed. The Beavers nearly rallied from a 31-14 deficit but ran out of time — because of a timekeeping mistake.

2. Sam Simendinger threw for 217 yards and ran for 38 more as Fenwick bounced back from a blowout by Alter to beat Badin 27-9. Simendinger totaled three touchdowns.

3. Mechanicsburg improved to 6-0 by crushing Ohio Heritage Conference rival West Liberty-Salem 31-0. As usual, quarterback Kaleb Romero was the star for the Indians. He ran for 197 yards and passed for another 92 while scoring a touchdown in a school-record 29th consecutive game.
4. Fairfield outscored Sycamore 28-6 in the second half to rally from a 13-point deficit and win 36-26. The Indians kept pace with Colerain and Princeton in the GMC standings and improved to 5-1 overall as Aaron Carmack threw for 356 yards and four touchdowns.

5. Dylan Frey connected with Xavier Warren from 20 yards out to give Lakota East a 31-28 win over Hamilton. The Big Red scored 21 straight points 24-7 but couldn't hold on for its first win. Eric Jackson had 335 yards of total offense for Hamilton.
6. After absorbing its first loss of the season in Week 5, Valley View bounced back big by blowing out Bellbrook 43-14. Collin Genslinger was the star for the Spartans, running for 207 yards and two touchdowns, including an 89-yarder.
7. Troy got some Miami County bragging rights and a GWOC American North win by hammering Tippecanoe 35-7. Hayden Kotwica accounted for three Trojan touchdowns.
