Trotwood’s Dazhonetae Bennett to play at Cedarville University

Trotwood-Madison graduate Dazhonetae Bennett will play basketball at Cedarville University this season, Yellow Jackets coach Pat Estepp announced Tuesday.

Bennett, a 6-foot-3 guard, played last season at Indian Hills Community College in Iowa. He averaged 6.3 points per game. He played his freshman season at Missouri State-West Plains, averaging 12.8 points per game.

Bennett signed with Nicholls State in May but was granted his release in July. He has two seasons of eligibility remaining.

Cedarville finished 14-15 last season.
