Week 7 Roundup: Fairmont, Miamisburg, Trotwood-Madison win; Bellbrook stays perfect

Fairmont rushed for 437 yards on its way to a 46-7 victory over West Carrollton on Friday night.

Aaron Jackson rushed 15 times for 137 yards and two touchdowns, while teammates Jesse Deglow added 100 yards and two TDs as the Firebirds improved to 6-1.

Chase Fugate also had two TDs, while Braden Miller had 89 yards rushing and a TD for Fairmont.

Miamisburg 21, Springboro 7: Tate Vongsy threw for 175 yards and a TD and rushed for 98 yards and two TDs as the Vikings (6-1) won their Greater Western Ohio Conference National West Division opener.

Springboro fell to 3-4 and 0-1 in the division.

Wayne 49, Beavercreek 17: Devin Nelson rushed for 164 yards and three TDs on nine carries as the Warriors improved to 2-0 in the GWOC National East division.

Rashad McKee rushed for two TDs for the Warriors (5-2), who host Fairmont next week in a crucial division game.

Beavercreek lost its fourth straight game, falling to 1-6 and 0-2 in the division.

Lebanon 20, Centerville 12: Billy Crago's 38-yard field goal with less than eight minutes remaining gave the Warriors the lead for good. Kyle Short added a 1-yard TD run to seal the victory for Lebanon (4-3).

Centerville is 0-7.

Trotwood-Madison 42, Fairborn 6: Cooper Stewart had two rushing TDs and Keon Hamilton and Keon'Tae Huguely each added a rushing TD as the Rams improved to 5-2 and 2-0 in the GWOC American South.

Troy 25, Butler 0: Jaydon Culp-Bishop rushed 23 times for 229 yards and three scores as the Trojans (6-1) rolled to their second straight GWOC American North division win. Butler is 4-3 and 1-1 in the division.

West Jefferson 23, Mechanicsburg 19: Justin Williams found Zach Hahn from 25 yards out to lift the Roughriders (5-2, 1-1) to a victory in the Ohio Heritage Conference North division.

Aaron Conley’s 17-yard pass to Keith Bebout gave the Indians a 19-16 lead in the fourth quarter.

Joey Mascadri and Logan Hurt each had rushing TDs for the Indians (6-1, 1-1).

Bellbrook 41, Eaton 6: The Eagles improved to 7-0 and 2-0 in the Southwestern Buckeye League Southwestern Division.

Northwestern 44, Benjamin Logan 12: Sophomore Ben Vannoord returned two kickoffs for touchdowns, including a 93-yarder, as Northwestern improved to 5-2 and 2-0 in the Central Buckeye Conference Mad River Division.

The Warriors’ Chris Hart threw three TD passes, including two to Landon Burns and another to Vannoord.

Sidney 16, Tippecanoe 10: The Yellow Jackets' Caleb Harris rushed for 166 yards in the GWOC American North victory.

Quarterback Ryan Dunham went 18-for-25 for 181 yards and two TDs for Sidney (4-3, 1-1).

Josh Burritt had 104 yards rushing and a TD and Cade Beam added 101 yards rushing for the Red Devils (3-4, 0-2).

Xenia 52, Stebbins 10: Sincere Wells rushed for 141 yards and four TDs in the GWOC American North opener for the Buccs (4-3, 1-0).
