“He dislocated his finger, and they put it back in,” Dayton coach Archie Miller said. “(Trainer Mike Mulcahey) said he was going to tape him up and let him go. Bobby said he could go. He stuck with it the rest of the way and did a great job for us.”
Wehrli had five points in the first half and didn’t score again. With Steve McElevene in foul trouble throughout the second half, he was on the court most of the time. He finished with six rebounds and two assists.
Stats of the game: The Flyers committed 12 turnovers in the first half, two more than they had in the entire game in a 73-37 victory over Saint Louis in January at UD Arena. They committed only five in the second half and overtime.

Rhode Island fell to 15-13 and 7-8 in the A-10 with a 65-54 loss at Davidson (17-9, 9-6) on Tuesday. Peyton Aldridge scored 24 points for the Wildcats, who won their third straight game. Jared Terrell led Rhode Island with 13 points. Kuran Iverson had 10 rebounds. The Rams shot 34 percent from the field and 23 percent from 3-point range.
Around the A-10: First-place VCU (20-7. 12-2) plays at 13th-place George Mason (9-18, 3-11) at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
