World Series Game 7 tickets are gonna set you back a bit

Looks like a lot of people are interested in being in the ball park when the Cubs or Indians end their decades of World Series frustration Wednesday night.

Game 7 standing-room-only tickets were going for no less than $846 on Stubhub as of mid-morning, and that’s just the beginning.

Someone was asking for as much as $15,000 for Diamond Box seats behind the Cubs dugout, and the site was rating “best value tickets” as club seats running from $2-3,000.

Seats in right field were starting at a little less than $900 with left field seats all $1,100 or more.

ESPN reported there was a surge in prices as the Cubs were beating the Indians 9-3 on Tuesday night.

The average sale price increased 56.4 percent, and a northeast Ohio broker told the site, “I would have never dreamed of getting these prices for baseball in Cleveland.”
