About Wright State: In last year's meeting, Wampler hit a 3-pointer with 6.3 seconds left for a 62-62 tie. But Coleman-Lands buried a deep 3 from the wing at the buzzer to give Miami a 65-62 win. The Raiders were 3-5 last season in games decided by four points or fewer. They'll have to do a better job rebounding this time, having lost the battle of the boards to Miami, 38-28. … Freshman Tanner Holden, a 6-6 wing, had a game-high 21 points and a team-best seven rebounds off the bench in a season-opening 96-77 win over Division-II Central State on Tuesday. Sophomore Skyelar Potter had 19 points, going 5 of 6 on 3-pointers. He shot 31.3 percent on 3's last season. … Love needs 25 points to become the 33rd member of Wright State's 1,000-point club. … The Raiders' 96 points against CSU were their most since dropping 96 on Western Carolina in the season-opener last year.

About Miami: The RedHawks beat NAIA foe Shawnee State, 82-68, in an exhibition Monday. The game was tied early in the second half before Miami, which rotated 10 players, pulled away. Mija White led five players in double figures with 14, while Sibande had 12 points and 10 rebounds. He was named third-team All-MAC last season and was one of five players selected for the league's preseason All-East Division team, while the RedHawks were picked to finish fourth. … Sophomore guard Mekhi Lairy, who came off the bench against Shawnee State, made the league's all-freshman team last season. …Another sub, senior forward Bam Bowman, averaged 9.7 points and a team-high 5.4 rebounds last year.

Coming up: The Raiders stay on the road for a game at Tennessee Tech at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday before coming home to face Kent State at 7 p.m. Saturday.
