Beautiful day Sunday, rain Monday

Dayton had a high of 52 shortly after 5pm Saturday. A mild Saturday night lies ahead with temperatures in the 40s. Winds will still be breezy, but winds will increase Sunday. Lows tonight will be around 40.

Sunday will be mild. Winds will be out of the south and southwest at 15-20mph. Highs Sunday will be around 60 under partly sunny skies. We’ll have a chance for a shower Sunday evening across the west, but most of the rain holds off until midnight or later. Lows will stay in the 40s overnight.

Monday will be rainy through the morning commute. Highs will reach 52 early. Rain tapers down to showers late Monday. A few flakes may mix in Monday night across the far north, but chances are slim.

The rest of the work week will be cooler, but fairly quiet. A few disturbances will be around the region, so the forecast may change over the next couple of days to include a slight chance of a shower or flake.
