Blustery today, some showers this weekend

Today

There have been gusty winds around 30 mph this morning, said StormCenter7 Meteorologist Kirstie Zontini. Later this afternoon gusts will pick up again, especially across the northern Miami Valley. Winds will make a cool day feel cooler with highs only getting back to around 50 as cool air spills in behind a cold front. A mix of sun and scattered clouds is expected today. Tonight clouds break, but won’t completely clear. Winds won’t be as gusty but a light breeze will linger. Lows drop to the upper 30s.

*Beggars Night- Upper 40s to start dropping to low 40s through evening.

Friday

Clouds break for more sun through the afternoon. It won’t be as windy through day. Highs wil reach the the middle 50s and it will stay dry. Football forecast-Low 50s to start dropping into the middle 40s by the end. Cool overnight dropping to around 40. (outlying spots in the 30s)

Saturday

A dry start to the day. Clouds will increase. Temperatures will climb to the upper 50s and it will become breezy into the evening. A cold front will work through overnight. Showers will develop along and ahead of the front. Some may start working into the northwest by Trick or Treat time. Temperatures will be dropping through the 50s. More showers expected across the area later in the night. Lows in the lower 50s.

Sunday

A morning shower or two may linger before daybreak. Clouds will break through the day. Temperatures get back to the middle 60s. More sun late day. A nice end to weekend

Monday

Sunshine and scattered clouds. Staying dry and slightly warmer in the upper 60s.
