Fog possible overnight, rain to return later this week

Overnight: Mainly clear and chilly conditions are expected, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said. Temperatures will fall through the 30s to an overnight low in the middle 20s.

“As skies remain clear tonight with relatively calm winds, a few areas of patchy fog may develop,” Vrydaghs said.

Tuesday: Quiet but cold start to the day with patchy fog possible. We'll stay mostly sunny and seasonal for the afternoon with highs around 40 degrees.

Wednesday: Warming up with highs in the upper 40s with a mix of sun and clouds.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy skies but showers will develop in the afternoon. It will be a mild day with highs near 50 degrees.

Friday: Scattered showers are likely with downpours possible at times. Winds also will increase during the day. It will be cooler with high temperatures in the lower 40s. As temperatures fall Friday night, any lingering precipitation may mix or change to light snow before ending.

Saturday: Decreasing clouds and chilly with highs in the upper 30s. It will be a blustery day with wind chills in the 20s through the afternoon.
