Temperatures will fall into the upper 20s by daybreak with wind chill readings in the teens at times, StormCenter 7 Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said.
A freeze warning is in effect from 2 to 10 a.m. Friday for Montgomery, Miami, Clark, Greene, Butler, Preble, Warren, Darke, Champaign, Clinton and Wayne (Indiana) counties, according to the National Weather Service.
Friday: Mostly cloudy skies to start the morning with showers developing during the afternoon. Rain may mix with sleet and could change to snow by late afternoon.
Highs on Friday will be in the mid-40s. A freeze watch has been issue for the evening as temperatures fall into the middle 20s.
Saturday: A few wet snowflakes or cold rain is possible early in the day. There will be a mix of sun and clouds, and highs on Saturday will only be in the upper 30s. A freeze watch takes effect from 2 to 11 a.m. Saturday Montgomery, Miami, Clark, Greene, Butler, Preble, Warren, Darke, Champaign, Clinton and Wayne (Indiana) counties, according to the National Weather Service.
Sunday: Most of the day looks to be dry with partly cloudy skies. Rain will return later Sunday into Monday. Highs on Sunday will be near 50 degrees.
Monday: More rain is expected to start the work-week. Highs will be in the lower-60s.
Tuesday: Skies will become mostly sunny as high pressure builds into the Great Lakes and Ohio Valley. Temperatures will be cooler, with highs in the lower 50s.
