There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms, which remain possible for the rest of the night.

An Air Quality Alert remains in effect until sunset for Butler and Warren counties, which was issued by the Southwest Ohio Air Quality Agency in anticipation of elevated ozone concentrations.

While the alert is in effect, the agency said that active children and adults, and people with respiratory diseases like asthma should avoid all outdoor exertion, while all others should limit outdoor exertion. It also asked people to limit vehicle use, and avoid using gas-powered lawn equipment, oil-based paints and stains, and fire pits or fireplaces.

Lows will be around 73 degrees.

Friday, we will see shower and thunderstorm chances again during the day along with increased clouds. Highs will be around 92 degrees, but the NWS predicted heat index values will only be around 95 degrees.
