Cloudy, mild today; Chance for rain returns tomorrow

Today will be mostly cloudy but dry and warmer with a high near 55 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

Skies remain mostly cloudy for tonight, which will have an overnight low around 40 degrees.

The chance for rain returns Thursday, mainly after 1 p.m. Otherwise, it will be cloudy and cooler with a high near 48 degrees.

Thursday night will be cloudy with a low around 41 degrees. There is a chance of rain during the overnight hours into Friday morning.

Friday is expected to be rainy, cloudy and warmer, with a high near 51 degrees. Friday night will be mostly cloudy with an overnight low around 39 degrees.

The weekend will be mostly cloudy but dry with highs in the middle 40s.
