Today will be mostly sunny, hot and windy, bringing a heightened risk of wildfires spreading quickly.

The NWS said that due to the good conditions for fires to quickly spread, outdoor burning is “highly discouraged.”

Highs will be around 81 degrees, and wind gusts will rise as high as 30 mph.

Overnight, though, clouds will gradually increase, with a chance of rain starting around 2 a.m. that will continue through dawn.

Lows will be around 59 degrees.

On Friday, there will be a chance of rain through the morning, with showers likely with a chance of thunderstorms starting in the early afternoon. Highs will be cooler, only rising to around 71 degrees.

Showers are expected to be light and scattered, with a stronger chance for rain Friday evening. Overnight lows will drop into the 50s.

Rain and storm chances will continue into Saturday morning before drier conditions return in the afternoon.

Saturday will be cooler and windy, with gusts will be as high as 31 mph. High temperatures will only be around 58 degrees.

Clouds will decrease in the afternoon and evening, for mostly clear skies overnight as temperature drop to a low around 40 degrees.
