City Of Clayton Additional tree disposal service has been added through Saturday. Residents can place limbs less than 4 inches at the road and curb. Residents may also take limbs and brush to the following locations: Sweep Clayton Clean at Station 83 at 800 Wollery Lane from 8-4 on Saturday and 10-4 on Sunday. Sept. 27 from 8-2 at Commerce Park on Hoke Road.
Greene County Greene County Enviromental Services is open for people that want to get rid of waste. 2145 Greenway Blvd., Xenia.
Beavercreek City and Township The jurisdictions will be allowing drop-off at Rotary Park starting on Thursday, September 18, from 7 am to 7 pm. The City and Township will begin picking up yard waste debris from the curb beginning on Monday, September 22. It may take several weeks to reach all homes. Individual limbs should be no longer than 6 feet and no more than 6 inches in diameter. Debris should be placed just inside the curb, not in the street.
City of Xenia: Debris should be cut into manageable size and taken to the curb for pick-up. Leaves and small debris can be bagged and set out for regular trash pick-up. Rumpke will temporarily accept bagged yard waste. Allow several days for City crews to complete clean-up tasks around the City.
Sugarcreek Township: The Township is accepting limbs and brush at the Township Administrative Offices for township residents. Drop-offs for businesses will not be accepted. Greene County Environmental Services will also take brush at 2021 Ferry Road Monday and Wednesday from 4 - 8 p.m.
Residents may also place limbs and brush at the curb and the Township Roads and Services Department will pick them up over the next several days. Please do not place the debris in the roadway. Time and efforts are currently being focused on clearing debris from the roadways. Xenia Township: Please take to Environmental Services if possible. If not, leave at curb, not in street. Cleaning roadways will be the township's first priority, so it may take up to two weeks to reach each home.
Fairborn: Residents may take brush to two locations: Quarry Park off SR235, or Community Park East behind the swimming pool. These sites will be open through September 26 from 8 am to 8 pm.
New Jasper Township: Residents may take brush to the Beach House at Shawnee Lake today until 7 p.m.; Friday from 10 am to 7 pm; and Saturday 9 am to 4 pm. The site will be closed Sunday.
Miami Township Over the next several days Miami Township Road Crews will be removing downed trees and tree limbs from the road right of way. For downed trees or tree limbs in your yard our crews will remove these items under the following circumstances. The material must be brought to the edge of the roadway and the material must be cut in small manageable pieces.
Preble County City and Township residents should leave their debris by the curb and make sure it's not in the street. Rural residents will need to take their debris to the landfill.
Springfield Springfield is offering brush disposal for residents to dump waste at the Old International Harvester Plant on Lagonda Ave. Enter thru the Belmont Avenue side. Hours will be from 9a to 7p for the remainder of the week.
Trotwood The City of Trotwood will remove tree limbs throughout the city, but all limbs must be 4" in diameter or smaller. Limbs should be stacked at the edge of the road or curb line, without obstructing road traffic, and should not be tied together or bagged. Trotwood will begin this service in the next several days, after all city roads have been cleared of any obstructions from fallen trees and debris. The pickups will continue through September 30th.
University of Dayton University grounds crews and tree-trimming contractors began working Sunday to clear downed trees and branches. Many trees, including some very large ones were damaged. Roofing contractors were contacted on Sunday, and were busy on Monday repairing damage to roofs on residences and campus buildings.
Washington Township Limbs up to two inches in diameter may be bundled with smaller branches and brush in bundles no larger than four feel long and two feet wide. These will be picked up on trash day at the curb.
Wilmington Debris pickup will be facilitated over the next 2 weeks. Residents are advised to put their debris in managable piles near the curb and crews will make pickups as fuel and time allows.
