DETAILED FORECAST

A wind advisory remains in effect until 8 p.m. for most of the area with the exception of Butler, Warren and Clinton counties.

Skies will become mostly clear and winds will gradually diminish toward and after sunset, StormCenter 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said. Temperatures will fall into the 50s.

Tonight: Mostly clear skies are expected with temperatures into the lower 40s by morning.

Thursday: Cooler morning in the low 40s, with gusty winds again. A little cooler for the afternoon as well in the mid-50s.

Friday: Ending the week with temperatures below normal (50 degrees) as we get to the upper 40s in the afternoon. Clouds linger, with a shower or two possible.

Saturday: Staying cooler for the weekend but not a wash out. Temperatures will start in the 20s and get back to the low to mid-40s. An isolated shower or two possible, which may mix with wet flakes if cold enough at night.

Sunday: Skies will remain mostly cloudy with temperatures holding in the middle 40s.

Monday: Skies will be mostly cloudy with breezy conditions. There will be the chance for a few rain or snow showers in the afternoon. Highs will drop back into the lower 40s.
