Mother's Day in Dayton: elé Cake Co. to host tea party for moms

If you want to do something other than a brunch for mom this year, elé Cake Co. is hosting a Mother's Day Tea Party the day before mom's big day, on May 11.

The 90-minute event will feature a light lunch of finger sandwiches, fresh fruit and veggies, and a variety of mini desserts. Also included are a selection of hot teas and lemonade.

Each guest will receive six cut-out sugar cookies to decorate and take home for an interactive twist to the day.

Cost is $60 for a pair and $20 for each additional guest. Organizers have shared that children of all ages are welcome.

In addition to non-alcoholic beverages, a selection of wines will also be available for purchase by the glass.
