A popular Dayton dining establishments will be celebrating its ninth anniversary in grand style next week.

Jimmie’s Ladder 11 will host a special candlelight dinner on Wednesday, Nov. 11 from 5-9 p.m.

The event will feature specialty Stoli Vodka and Tequila Corralejo craft cocktails, local beer and a multi-course dinner. A $99.99 gift card will be awarded to the best-dressed couple of the evening. The candlelight dinner is $49.99 for two people.

The multi-course dinner will include the following options:

Appetizers:

  • Prosciutto Bruschetta: Toasted baguettes topped with ricotta, roasted tomatoes, prosciutto and fresh basil, topped with a balsamic reduction.
  • Pimento Stuffed Mushrooms: Four white mushrooms stuffed with house-made pimento cheese.
  • Blind Dates: Four Applewood bacon-wrapped dates, stuffed with sausage, on a bed of marinara.
  • Sweetheart Shrimp Cocktail: Four jumbo gulf shrimp served with house-made cocktail sauce.

Soups and salads:

  • Side Salad: Mixed greens, tomatoes, red onions, cucumbers, shredded cheddar jack cheese and croutons.
  • Caesar Salad: Mixed greens, parmesan and asiago cheese and croutons, tossed with creamy Caesar dressing.
  • Lobster Bisque: House-made lobster bisque, served with grilled garlic crostini.
  • French Onion: Jimmie’s Ladder 11 French Onion Soup made from scratch and topped with a toasted baguette, swiss and parmesan.

Entrees:

  • House Sirloin: A dry-aged six-ounce sirloin, cooked to order and served with garlic mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables.
  • Bourbon Chicken: House-made bourbon chicken prepared with New Riff Bourbon and served with rice pilaf.
  • Lobster Mac: Cavatappi pasta with Wisconsin Cheddar and lobster cream sauce and succulent cold water lobster meat, topped with buttery parmesan bread crumbs.
  • Autumn Harvest Ravioli: Butternut squash ravioli with a brown-butter sage sauce.

Desserts:

  • S’mores Cake: Toasted graham cracker crust with flourless chocolate cake topped with marshmallow brûlée and chocolate sauce.
  • Bananas Foster Crème Brûlée: Rich house-made bananas foster custard topped with a layer of hardened caramelized sugar.
  • New York Style Cheesecake: House-made New York-style cheesecake topped with a caramel and raspberry drizzle.
