EO Burgers — the upscale burgers-and-beers restaurant that left The Greene in January after a decade-long run — will be reborn this week in its new home in Washington Twp.

The relocated restaurant will open at noon Wednesday, July 29, in the former restaurant-bar side of Ollie’s Place near Hauer Music at 520 Miamisburg-Centerville Road.

Glen Pyle, the restaurant’s managing partner, said the restaurant will be in soft-opening mode initially, offering takeout and delivery only, until it can become fully staffed. Hours will be noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, closed Sunday and Monday, for now.

Pyle has said the new EO Burgers will boast a freshened-up menu and 31 beer taps. A full bar and frozen custard also are available.

The menu includes a choice of proteins such as Kobe/beef burgers, elk burgers, free-range chicken, salmon and a “Beyond” vegan burger. The burgers are served with hand-cut fries with a choice of regular, Parmesan, garlic, Cajun, herb-rubbed and truffle. Tots, onion rings and sweet-potato fries are available for a slight upcharge.

The restaurant will employ about 30, including staff members that previously worked at the Beavercreek location, Pyle said.

EO Burgers opened in 2010 at 4482 Glengarry Drive in The Greene as a new concept of “upscale but affordable burgers” from Ann Arbor-based Mainstreet Ventures. It shut its doors in late January 2020. Its previous space at The Greene is now occupied by the first Dayton-area location of Columbus-based Condado Tacos.
