>> Northridge celebrates graduation days after tornado: ‘We have all survived’
“We wanted to do something normal and fun,” said Pastor Chris Reese. “We want the folks who have been affected by the tornadoes to take a break and enjoy some normal fun things.”
Guest speakers, drawings and giveaways are also scheduled. Bottled water that has been donated over the week to the church will also be given out during this event.

New City Church wants everyone to come out and show support for the Northridge community. They also want those who have contributed to relief efforts and cleanup to be a part of this “unforgettable and uplifting” event.
“I have seen this community pull together and help each other out so much,” Reese said. “We love the 45414 community that God has called us to.”
The church has had volunteers throughout the week giving out food, water, ice, hygiene supplies and more. Now, they want everyone to enjoy a day of rest and fun.
