Two celebrities with local ties among the nominees for Screen Actors Guild awards

Oakwood native Allison Janney is among the list of the nominees for the 26th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, announced Wednesday, Dec. 11, in West Hollywood, California.

Janney — Oscar, Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG winner — is a nominee

for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture for her work on "Bombshell" along with Connie Britton, Nicole Kidman, Malcolm McDowell, Kate McKinnon, Margo Robbie and Charlize Theron.

John Lithgow, who grew up in Yellow Springs, is also nominated for his role in the same cast.
