Dayton’s charming Ethiopian restaurant is offering customers perhaps their best deals ever to celebrate the coming of the new year.

From Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and raised in Columbus where her mom owned a restaurant, Sofi Kinde opened Nanyea Restaurant Coffee House & Bar more than four years ago at 5214 N. Main Street in Harrison Twp., Montgomery County. The restaurant later moved to its current location in 2018 at 6129 N. Dixie Drive, also in Harrison Twp.

Four exclusive end-of-the-year specials are happening now at Nanyea through Jan. 8, 2022.

  • Free Coffee Fridays

Customers can enjoy free coffee with their order. Offer only valid for dine-in orders.

  • BOGO 50 percent off Thursdays

Customers who buy one entree can get another of equal or lesser value for 50 percent off. Offer is only valid for dine-in orders.

  • Sambusa Wednesdays

Sambusas, triangular stuffed pastries, are half priced every Wednesday for dine-in customers only. The offer is limited to two per party.

  • Tibs Tuesdays

Tibs dishes are 25 percent off with a limit of two per order or party. This offer is available for both dine-in and carryout orders.
